# HXP — Humanitarian Experience

> HXP is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit that takes teenagers ages 14–19 — plus the parents, grandparents, and young-adult leaders who serve alongside them — on two-week humanitarian service expeditions around the world. Since 1999, more than 48,000 "Builders" have served around the world — 73 locations in 40 countries in the 2026 season alone — contributing over 5.2 million hours of service. HXP promises "the hardest and best summer of your life": a full digital detox (no phones), real construction/teaching/service work, and tight-knit positive peer groups. Motto: "there will be miracles.™" Values: Love God, Love People. HXP is aligned with the values of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints but is not sponsored or endorsed by it.
