2026 Parent Builder Training
Each Parent Builder is required to attend a MANDATORY IN-PERSON (in Utah) or virtual (outside of Utah) interactive training session. Returning Parent Builders may opt to join an abbreviated 1.5 hour training session!
Each year, about 95% of Parent Builders go on their trips and have an amazing experience. However, the handful that do end up having challenges almost inevitably did not fully participate in the training. We have seen a direct correlation between your satisfaction as a Parent Builder and the 3 hours you invest in this training to prepare.
No Parent Builder will be permitted to join a trip without completing the training.
The training is also a great opportunity to tour HXP HQ (SLC location), talk with HXP employees face-to-face and visit with other Parent Builders!

First-time Parent Builder Trainings
Saturday, April 18, 1-4pm – HXP HQ
Friday, May 1, 1-4pm – HXP HQ
Tuesday, May 12, 6-9pm – HXP HQ
Saturday, May 16, 1-4 – Centerville
Thursday, May 21, 6-9pm – HXP HQ
Virtual Training (ONLY for those who reside outside of Utah):
Thursday, April 23rd, 6-9pm MST
Thursday, May 5th, 6-9pm MST
Saturday, May 16, 1-4 – Centerville
Returning Parent Builder Session
We realize experience is the best teacher, but there is always more to learn and ways to improve to make this year’s experience the best ever.
The 2026 training date for returning parent builders is:
