Builder Market
Hey 2026 Builders—congrats on being placed on a trip! We’re thrilled for you and can’t wait for you to experience one of the most life-changing adventures of your life.
We encourage all our builders to cover at least part of their trip cost because the more you put into it, the more you’ll get out of it! To help you get ready for this summer, we’re excited to announce our very first Builder Market. This is your chance to get creative, showcase your skills, and raise funds for your upcoming HXP trip.
In-Person Builder Market
Date: Saturday, February 7th
Location: HXP Office, Salt Lake City, Utah
Vendor Fee: $10
Virtual Builder Market
Date: Monday, February 9th
Location: Instagram @HXP.BuilderMarket
Vendor Fee: $5
Here’s the deal: think flea market or farmer’s market, but you are the vendor! Whether it’s homemade goodies, crafts, or offering your small business services (from salsa and bread to window washing and car detailing)—you get to show off what you can do and raise money for your trip.
We’re offering both a Virtual Market and an In-Person Market, so no matter if you’re in Utah, North Carolina, or even France, you can still be part of it! Whether you join in person or virtually, this is an awesome way to earn money and connect with the HXP community.
Be a Builder Vendor!
We would love to have you as a vendor! You can apply by filling out this form with your information, your story, and your product/service. After you fill it out, our team will review your idea and get in touch soon with setup details, booth info, how to pay the vendor fee, and next steps. The last day to apply is January 15th, but the sooner the better!
Anna's Sourdough
This is our girl Anna! She went on her first HXP trip to Cambodia last summer. We found out that she was making and selling sourdough to earn money to pay for her whole trip! She came to visit HXP headquarters and the HXP office members were able to try her amazing sourdough and support her at the same time!
“When I chose to go on an HXP, I didn’t have a huge amount of savings, but I was paying for my whole trip. Those payment deadlines felt close and I was overwhelmed thinking about how to even start earning the rest of the money I needed. After lots of prayer and talking with my parents I chose to start selling sourdough bread. At times it was tiring and added on to the busyness of life, but making and selling bread was a miracle for me. Thanks to a generous community and some elbow grease, I was able to earn enough money for all of my trip to Cambodia. Paying for the trip by myself brought so much more meaning to everything we did. If it was hard day on the worksite or a day where I didn’t know who to talk to, I remembered all that I had done to get there. I didn’t want to waste a second and I stayed eager to meet people and do things because I had worked to get there. I went into the trip all in and was prepared to seek and expect miracles, because of what I’d done. I’m so grateful I was able to pay for my whole trip and even more grateful for the meaningfulness that brought to my time in Cambodia. There were miracles.”
