Parent Builder Background Check & References

Thank you so much for stepping up to serve as a Parent Builder! As part of our commitment to creating a safe, trustworthy, and Christ-centered environment, all Parent Builders are required to complete a background check and submit three personal references.

Background Check

All Parent Builders must complete a background check before participating in the trip, even if you have served with us before. 

Follow these instructions after clicking the link below to complete your background check:

1- Click on the “Background Screening Process”

2- Login with your HXP username email

3- Complete all required fields

4 – Pay the background check fee (it is not covered by HXP)

Personal References

In addition to the background check, we require three (3) personal references.

Important guidelines for references:

• References may not be family members or work for HXP

• Please include your Bishop

Final Step

Once you have submitted both your background check and your three (3) references, click the checkbox on your “Background Check” portal checklist to confirm you have successfully completed both steps. We will reach out to you if we have any issues.
